Nadia Karen Rodríguez Sern
Hey there! I'm originally from Mexico with a background in Biotech Engineering, but I found my passion in Business Development and Strategy within the biotech world—that's what brought me to Boston. Since arriving, I’ve fallen in love with the city’s history, architecture, and innovative energy. I love meeting new people, swapping stories, and sharing fun trivia or hidden gems from the places I’ve lived. I speak Spanish and English (with a sprinkle of German!), and I’ve got an adventurous streak—like climbing El Nevado de Toluca and planning my next summits. Some of my favorite Boston spots? The Public Library and the East Boston waterfront—perfect places to take in the beauty and spirit of the city.

Having grown up just outside of Boston as a fourth-generation Bostonian, she takes great pride in showing guests around the city, and enjoys seeing Boston through the eyes of people who come from all over the world. In many ways, giving tours is her way of giving back to the city that has given her so many amazing opportunities and memories throughout her life.

Sonia Poch Galisteo
Hi! I’m a passionate storyteller and licensed tour guide originally from vibrant Barcelona, now proudly calling Boston my second home. With a background in education and communication, I specialize in turning history into meaningful, emotional experiences—whether it’s walking Harvard’s campus, sharing love stories like Jackie & John’s, or exploring Beacon Hill’s hidden past.
I guide in Catalan, Spanish, and English, and I believe the best way to discover Boston is on foot—with all five senses engaged. My tours blend history, humor, nature, and local flavor. Sometimes we even end with a picnic in the Arboretumor the Boston Common!
My love for walking is so deep, I often forget public transportation exists… my feet are my best map!

When I’m not studying or playing soccer, you’ll find me coding, exploring new flavors, and connecting with people from all walks of life. I speak English and Spanish, and I love making everyone feel welcome.
Harvard Gem: Without a doubt, Annenberg—it’s more than just a dining hall, it’s where memories (and great meals) are made.

Arianna Martinez Cavero
Arianna is a student in the class of 2028 at Harvard University, where she is pretty sure she will be majoring in social studies and minoring in linguistics (check-in with her again in senior year, though– there’s just too many cool things!). Her parents immigrated to the United States from Barcelona in the early 2000s, and she grew up just outside of Boston. A lover of travelling, meeting new people, stories, and learning, Arianna is overjoyed to share what makes her love living in New England with anyone visiting her favorite city.
Arianna has experience in anthropology, and loves learning about the different backgrounds of those around her. Her favorite Boston story is that when they increased the subway exit-fare in 1949, a band wrote and popularized a song about Charlie, a man stuck on the M.(B.)T.A because he could not afford the new exit-fare. Charlie never returns, and his wife throws him sandwiches through the window. Arianna grew up singing this song at summer camp and torments her friends with how catchy it is. This is why the subway cards are called CharlieCards and the tickets are called CharlieTickets (and why it’s even more fitting that Massachusetts’ governor for a while was Charlie Baker)!
Arianna speaks Catalan, Spanish, and English fluently, as well as rusty French, which she is hoping to reinvigorate in college. She loves languages and wants to keep on learning them throughout college and her life. One fun fact about her is that she is an avid jazz/folk violinist!
Her favorite hidden gem in Boston is definitely Boston Public Market, though the green spaces and old brick shops are a close second. Also, her favorite often overlooked thing about Boston is how active its folk music scene is!

I consider myself a curious and open-minded person, always eager to learn and connect with others. My passion lies in understanding how cities work and how we can shape them into more livable, sustainable, and equitable spaces for everyone. I'm especially excited about guiding in Boston because it’s a city where history and innovation coexist. To truly understand a city, I believe we must look to its past. Boston's rich history offers invaluable insights into how urban spaces evolve and how we can plan for a better future.
