Our Guides: Nadia Rodríguez
Hey there! I'm originally from Mexico with a background in Biotech Engineering, but I found my passion in Business Development and Strategy within the biotech world—that's what brought me to Boston. Since arriving, I’ve fallen in love with the city’s history, architecture, and innovative energy. I love meeting new people, swapping stories, and sharing fun trivia or hidden gems from the places I’ve lived. I speak Spanish and English (with a sprinkle of German!), and I’ve got an adventurous streak—like climbing El Nevado de Toluca and planning my next summits. Some of my favorite Boston spots? The Public Library and the East Boston waterfront—perfect places to take in the beauty and spirit of the city.
Experience & Interests
She loves to tie in personal anecdotes from my childhood into her tours. For example, one of her favorite stories is about the song her grandmother used to sing called “Charlie on the MTA”—which tells the tale of a man who “never returned” and is actually the origin of Boston’s iconic CharlieCard.
Languages she speaks fluenty
She speaks English fluently and is in the process of mastering Spanish. She loves practicing Spanish with her guests!
A fun fact about her
She once met Zendaya and Tom Holland on Newbury Street in the Back Bay.
Favorite Boston landmark or hidden gem
Her favorite Boston landmark is probably the Museum of Fine Arts.
